Bomb threat prompts lockdown at Genesis, no danger to the public

A bomb threat had local hospitals scrambling this morning, but right now, there’s no danger to the public.

The Scott Emergency Communications Center received a report of a possible bomb threat to an unspecified hospital on Thursday, January 25 at about 6:41 a.m.

Davenport Police worked with staff at local hospitals to ensure the safety of the hospitals and staff during the investigation. Genesis East and West placed themselves on lockdown as a precaution, but after an investigation, it was determined there was no immediate danger to the hospital.
