Jeff Dye Net Worth – $3 million
What is Jeff Dye’s net worth? Who is Jeff Dye’s girlfriend? Is Jeff Dye married?
Introduction
Jeff Dye is the superstar comedian who appears in NBC’s Better Late Than Never.
He’s also part of the cast of I Can Do That, he’s appeared on Last Comic Standing—where he came in at a respectable 3rd place as a comedy freshman—and he’s been on MTV.
Dye has a refreshing level of positivity and enthusiasm that shines through in an era where comedy is getting darker and more controversial all the time.
Oh, he’s also been linked to a familiar outspoken blonde for all our Laguna Beach fans.
And yes, it’s probably who you think.
The Origin Story
Jeffrey Dye was born on February 4, 1983, in Seattle, Washington, and raised in nearby Kent.
He went to high school at Kentwood High School in Covington, around 30 miles away.
Despite his simple last name, Dye is a multicultural blend of heritages—as he found out when he took an online DNA test on his show.
It turns out he’s Spanish, German, Jewish, and French Canadian.
After he graduated from Kentwood high, he enrolled at Green River Community College.
He wasn’t a fan of college life, but he figured it was something he was supposed to be doing before he went out in the world and tried to get a “real job.”
Not too long after he enrolled, he dropped out. With his heart set on trying to pursue a career he would actually enjoy, he started studying stand-up comedy.
He’d watch hours and hours of DVD footage, and he was absolutely convinced that this was going to be what he did for the rest of his life.
College may have been made that little bit harder due to the fact Dye suffers from dyslexia.
He didn’t learn to read until he was 20.
Dye has a golden-doodle (it’s a cross between a golden retriever and a poodle) dog named Bub, who he calls his best friend.
Bub features heavily in Dye’s social media posts.
Jeff is the first to admit that as a comedian, at first, he was really, really bad.
Fortunately, he was also hell-bent on improving, and he was serious about becoming a successful comedian.
Plus, in his own words, “I knew I was funny.”
He also had really encouraging friends and family, who told him to keep trying and to work on his material until he got it right.
Janice Lee Dye
One of those really encouraging friends and family members was Jeff’s sister, Janice.
Growing up, she’d always had her baby brother’s back.
She bailed him out of trouble, picked him up when he was lost—or in trouble again—and always helped him out if he was somewhere he wasn’t meant to be.
She was the ultimate big sister, according to Dye, and she passed away in December 2015 after a car accident in Oregon.
Following the family’s tragic loss, Jeff took to social media with a heartfelt post about his big sister and how he had never known a world without her in it.
He explained that being her younger brother meant he never had a conflict with her and always felt protected.
He called Janice his hero and said that his heart was broken into “a million pieces.”

Wife/Girlfriend
Jeff Dye is not married, however, the comedy entertainer used to date Becky Lynch—yes, the wrestler. He and the WWE superstar dated throughout 2018 but broke up near the end of the year. Early the following year, she was snapped out and about with fellow wrestling pro Seth Rollins.
The pair had a baby together in 2020.
Dye once joked that he liked dating women who had kids.
In his standup spiel, he explained, “they’re already going to all the places I wanna go.”
He also mused that dating single moms seemed like a good idea because “I like kids, I like women, and babies seem like [they’d be] a lot of work.”
Maybe he wasn’t entirely joking.
In late 2020, Jeff Dye was caught on camera smooching reality TV celebrity Kristin Cavallari of Laguna Beach and The Hills fame.
Superfans also pointed out that the pair had been leaving ultra-friendly comments on each other’s socials.
Friends of Dye and Cavallari tried to set the record straight, saying they’re just having fun.
They were spotted again in Cabo San Lucas in March of 2021, where they were said to be on vacation separately.

The Comedy Circuit
Dye’s comedy resume is pretty stellar—he’s hosted Numbnuts, Money From Strangers, and Club New Year’s Eve 2013 on MTV.

He’s been part of the celebrity line-up for I Can Do That. He’s performed at Chicago’s TBS Comedy Festival, Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham, and his own Comedy Central slot.
He’s been part of the cast of ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition since 2011.
And he’s been in a music video—for Dierks Bentley’s Drunk on a Plane.
As if he hasn’t been busy enough, he’s also the host of his self-named Friendship Podcast on the ATC network.
