A four-year-old boy and a man whose bodies were discovered in a flat were identified today as police confirmed they were treating the child's death as murder.
Kayden Frank was found dead in the top-floor apartment in Paisley, near Glasgow, three days ago - as well as a relative named today as 38-year-old Steven Frank.
Detectives said they were investigating Kayden's death as a murder following a post-mortem examination. Mr Frank's death is being treated as non-suspicious.
Neighbours told of screams coming from the property before the discovery on Monday evening at about 8pm after Police Scotland received a report of concern.
Police have not revealed causes of death, but it is suspected to have been a murder suicide. One witness said she had heard cries of 'Help me' before officers arrived.
