A teacher who was convicted of having sex with one of her students and exposed on Twitter for having sex with another has been sentenced to 12 months in prison.
The charges against Anna Michelle Walter, 24, from Virginia, were reduced from felonies to misdemeanors yesterday in relation to the sexual relationship with the Cosby High School student between March 15 and April 15, 2012.
She is also accused of seducing another teen who tweeted explicit pictures and texts messages that were said to be from the teacher. No charges were brought in this case because the ex-student was 18.

When she turned herself into police at the end of October, she was charged with sexual battery - for which she received the 12-month prison sentence - and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, for which she received a 12-month suspended sentence.
She has been banned from having contact with her victim - who is still a student at Cosby High School - and must undergo counseling and a sexual offender evaluation.
The charges were reduced after authorities spoke to her victim.
The 'inappropriate contact' with an unnamed male student happened last spring, police said, in a classroom but after school hours.
They had exchanged text messages for a sustained period of time.

The shocking posts were made after Mr Foster alerted his Twitter followers he had bombshell news.
'Oh man s**** going down tonight please if you attend Cosby or used to please be on twitter it'll be a treat,' Mr Foster tweeted under the handle @DubVeeU.
A few hours later, he announced that he was 'hammered' and started posting the photos.
Those tweets have since been taken down, but Mr Foster continues to bask in his new-found popularity.

WRIC-TV in Richmond reported that Ms Walters, whose mother also works at the high school, was fired when officials became aware of the allegations that she had sexual relations with a student.
School officials said they notified police, as well.
Mr Foster is basking in the infamy that his announcement has brought.
He tweeted: 'So y'all understand that she deserved this like? Do you understand she's a raging s***? I do, amen, amen, amen. Captain Time.'

Others were disgusted with the announcement.
