An Indiana woman has been arrested for allegedly killing her boyfriend by driving over him twice with a car.
Authorities said Briana Rice, 23, of Hammond, faces multiple charges, including murder, voluntary manslaughter and leaving the scene of a fatal accident, in the April 24 death of 25-year-old Terrondy Jones.
A witness told police she saw a couple arguing outside an East Chicago apartment near the 1700 block of East 135th Street before a man began walking away from a car.
The witness said a female driver then 'backed her car up almost striking a garage' and 'she then sped up, striking the male subject with the car'.

Rice reportedly told investigators that she then decided to leave Jones there and started pulling off when he 'jumped in front of the car'.
She said she was driving around 10mph when 'she saw him sliding off of the vehicle but she did not stop and stated that was when she ran him over', the affidavit states.
Rice said she then fled the scene because she 'thought that he would start fighting her if she got out to check on him'.
She claimed that when she looked in her mirror she thought she saw him moving. Rice also told police that she didn't call 911 following the incident.
Rice appeared for an initial hearing Monday in Lake County during which a judge entered a not guilty plea on her behalf.
Online court documents do not list the name of Rice's court-appointed attorney.
